Professional Biography
El-Kalash is a Lecturer I in the Department of Library and Information Science at the Federal University of Education, Kontagora, Niger State, Nigeria. A scholar dedicated to information management and pedagogy, his research interests encompass digital literacy, library technologies, academic library management, and information services delivery across higher education institutions.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science combined with Sociology from Bayero University, Kano; a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto; and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Umaru Musa Yar'Adua University, Katsina.
El-Kalash is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN) registered with the Librarians' Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), an active member of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA), and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM), among other professional affiliations.
An avid reader and active researcher with over 50 citations, he has travelled widely to present scholarly papers at national and international conferences. His contributions to the field are documented across several peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings, and edited book chapters.
