Professional Biography
Akintola Kamoru Bukola is an ICT professional, cybersecurity specialist, and university administrator with over 15 years of progressive experience in information and communication technology management within the Nigerian higher education sector. He currently serves as Chief Programme Analyst at Federal University of Education, Kontagora, Niger State, where he provides strategic leadership in ICT infrastructure development, digital transformation, cybersecurity, enterprise systems management, and academic technology deployment.
He holds an OND and HND in Computer Science from Federal Polytechnic Ede, a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, and an M.Sc. in Cybersecurity from the Africa Centre of Excellence on Technology Enhanced Learning at the National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja.
Akintola is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), a member of the Nigerian Computer Society, and a registered member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN/CRCN). His professional expertise covers cybersecurity, campus networking, learning management systems, payment gateway integration, student information systems, website administration, and ICT project management.
Over the years, he has led and contributed to several institutional ICT projects, including university portal development, LMS deployment, Interswitch payment integration, network infrastructure management, and digital automation initiatives. He also serves as Secretary, University ICT Committee, member of the Management Information Systems (MIS) Committee, and Technical Lead, University Website Committee at Federal University of Education, Kontagora.
Akintola is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance teaching, learning, research, and institutional efficiency in higher education.
