Professional Biography
Andrew Randa is a Nigerian educator, sports journalist, football writer, content creator and sports graphics designer whose professional career spans education, journalism, football and digital communication.
He is a Senior Lecturer at the Federal College of Education, Kontagora, where he combines teaching and academic research with his longstanding passion for sports and creative communication. His academic interests intersect with digital media, graphic design, visual communication and the role of media in society.
Randa has also established himself as a football journalist with extensive experience covering Nigerian and African football. He has worked with SuperSport as a football writer and blogger and has served as an editor and researcher with Soccer Press. Over the years, his journalism has focused particularly on the Super Eagles, Super Falcons, Nigeria's youth national teams, the Nigeria Premier Football League and Nigerian footballers playing abroad.
His experience extends beyond journalism into football administration and communications. He served for three years as Media Officer of Nigeria's U-20 men's national team, where he was involved in managing team media activities, documenting the team's activities and communicating its programmes and achievements to the public.
Randa is also an experienced sports graphics designer and visual communicator. He has developed a strong presence in football-related graphic design, producing visual content for teams, players, competitions and digital media platforms. His creative work encompasses sports graphics, visual storytelling, photography, video production and digital content creation.
His professional journey reflects a unique combination of academia, football journalism, sports communication and graphic design. Through these different areas, Randa has contributed to the documentation, promotion and visual representation of Nigerian football while also developing the next generation of students through his work in education.
