Professional Biography
Hassan Muhammad is a Lecturer II in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Secondary Education, Federal University of Education, Kontagora, Niger State, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science Education (B.Sc. Ed.) in Mathematics and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics.
His research interests include Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases, Applied Mathematics, and Mathematics Education. His current research focuses on the mathematical modelling of dengue fever and cholera, with emphasis on developing mathematical models that support disease prevention, control, and public health decision-making.
Hassan Muhammad has published 13 scholarly articles in reputable journals and has presented papers at 10 national and international conferences. He is a member of the Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN). He is committed to excellence in teaching, research, mentorship, and community service, with a passion for applying mathematics to solve real-world problems and contribute to scientific knowledge.
